A quality engineer ensures a company’s products and processes meet internal, customer and regulatory requirements. In Morocco the function is deeply embedded in automotive (Renault, Stellantis, tier suppliers), aerospace (Midparc), agri-food and pharma.
Scope
- Build and sustain the quality management system (QMS);
- Internal audits, non-conformity handling, CAPA;
- Quality KPIs — PPM, FPY, Cp/Cpk, customer-return rate;
- Customer complaint resolution — 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa;
- Certification maintenance — ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (automotive), EN 9100 (aerospace), ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 (food safety);
- Preparation for customer audits and recertifications.
Skills
- Quality tools — FMEA, MSA, SPC, 5S, control plans;
- Relevant sector standards;
- Reading engineering drawings and understanding process flows;
- Professional French and English; German valued in automotive.
Training
Engineering schools (EMI, EHTP, ENSA, ENSAM), ENIM Rabat, ESITH Casablanca (textiles), IFMIA for automotive. Lean Six Sigma certifications (Green/Black Belt) are valued.
