1. Scope

These terms govern use of the site usekayn.com ("Kayn", "the site"), an independent editorial publication about employment in Morocco.

2. Nature of content — not personalised advice

Content on the site (entries, guides, calculators, sector overviews, city and role pages) is intended to be informational, educational and general. It is not legal, tax, social, medical or financial advice tailored to an individual's situation.

Rates, scales, caps and procedures referenced may change between site updates. Always verify the latest version on the cited official source before acting.

For a specific situation, consult a qualified professional: lawyer, chartered accountant, labour inspector, doctor, tax adviser, or the relevant public institution.

3. Calculators

The calculators on this site (gross-to-net salary, severance, paid leave) produce indicative estimates based on the inputs you provide and the public rates and scales in force at the last site update. They do not replace an official payslip, a court decision, or a professional opinion. Kayn does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the results.

3 bis. Paid products (guides, PDFs, templates)

Any digital product offered for sale by Kayn (PDF guides, letter templates, grids, downloadable simulators) is provided strictly for informational and educational purposes. It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, labour or financial advice tailored to an individual, and creates no advisory relationship between Kayn and the buyer.

The buyer is solely responsible for any decision or action taken on the basis of these products. Kayn expressly recommends that you consult a lawyer, chartered accountant, or qualified professional before any action based in whole or in part on the content of a paid product.

Products are delivered "as is", without warranty of updates, freedom from errors, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. A 14-day right of withdrawal is offered to dissatisfied buyers upon written request to contact@usekayn.com, absent abuse.

4. Job listings and external links

Kayn does not publish job listings of its own, does not store any applications, and is not party to the relationship between candidates and employers. Listings shown on some pages come from third-party sources (Bayt.com, Indeed.ma, ReKrute, Jooble or equivalents) and redirect to the original posting. Kayn is not the employer, not the recruitment agency, and not responsible for the content or accuracy of those listings, nor for any decisions made by recruiters.

5. Affiliate links — disclosure

Some outbound links to third-party platforms are affiliate links. When you click such a link and subsequently act on the third-party site (sign-up, application, purchase), Kayn may receive a commission. This does not change the price for you and does not bias our selection of partners. The presence of an affiliate link is not advice, a recommendation, or a warranty about the destination platform.

6. Intellectual property

All content (text, entry structure, calculators, layout) is original and protected by copyright. Reproduction, adaptation, translation or distribution, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written consent, except for short, attributed quotations consistent with standard practice.

Third-party trademarks and trade names remain the property of their respective owners.

7. No warranty and limitation of liability

The site, its calculators and any associated product are provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or freedom from error.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kayn, its officers, employees, contractors and partners disclaim any and all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising from — or related to — :

Cap on liability. In any event, Kayn's aggregate liability to you, whatever the cause, is strictly capped at the amount actually paid by you for the product or service in question over the prior 12 months, and failing that at one hundred (100) MAD.

7 bis. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Kayn, its officers, employees, contractors and partners against any claim, action, proceeding, penalty, damage, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from, or related to, (i) your use of the site, its calculators or its products, (ii) your breach of these terms, or (iii) your violation of a third party's rights.

7 ter. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

8. Changes to the terms

Kayn may update these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on the site at the date of consultation. Continued use of the site after an update means acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance, absent an amicable settlement, falls under the competent Moroccan courts.
